Bob Brooks

Bob has been helping clients buy and sell small businesses since 1981 and has closed over 500 transactions to date.  As manager of Business Team's San Jose office for six years, he monitored the sale of hundreds more. He is a founding member of CABB and served for years on its Board of Directors.  For over twenty years, he has chaired CABB's Legal and Forms Committee that is responsible for drafting and revising CABB's forms.  He's been qualified as an expert witness in San Francisco Superior Court.  A member of the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) since 1987, Bob has earned the Lifetime CBI (Certified Business Intermediary) designation. He taught "Buying and Selling an Existing Business" at West Valley College in Saratoga for seven years. He is a graduate of Ohio University and served two years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in India.
