Stu Gilman

Stu is originally from NH, where he and his wife spent most of their lives. They moved to CA in 2002, and then after 20+ years there, relocated to the Charlotte, NC area in 2023 to be closer to their families. He worked as a software consultant to large companies for many years, and an active contributor to tech startups. Stu is a partner at Transworld of Tri-Valley, a Central Valley-based M&A firm, and recently joined Transworld in Charlotte South as well. Beyond his professional pursuits, he believes in giving back to his community in many ways, working with many local non-profits and local election campaigns. As a result of his love for community, Stu was asked to run for the Modesto Irrigation Board of Directors, a publicly owned $500m utility, where he served for 5 years. His passion is working with clients to sell or buy businesses in CA and NC, frequently helping them to retire from their business or to carve out a piece of the American Dream by owning one.
