Mike Avera has been creating, opening, operating, investing in and exiting companies since 1985. His first self brokered sale was in 1997. It was through that experience that he has continued to hone his business acumen and various exit strategies to maximize business value. He understands exactly what the owner(s) are facing when they want to buy or sale their business.
He has a BA - Economics from UT -Austin and holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI.
Has been married to the same beautiful woman since 1997 and has 3 terrific children. They all love to travel especially when it involves adventure. Cycling and working out are frequent activities he employs to keep his mind sharp and the creativity flowing. He is the lead Advisor on many high adventure scouting outings and currently holds the Triple Crown award with the Boy Scouts of America. Both of his boys are Eagle Scouts.
