Upon completion of a business degree from WVU (1980). John founded “Riversport Whitewater Recreation Center” in Confluence, PA. After selling Riversport in 1987, he acquired a Real Estate Broker’s license and joined Business Brokers of America in Orlando, FL. In 1989, he pioneered the concept of single agency buy/side business brokerage with a company called Business Acquisition Team, Inc. In 1991 he started a company called Postal Delivery System, Inc. to drop ship direct mail and parcels into postal facilities throughout the country. In 2001, he returned to Southwestern PA where he served as Coordinator of the Institute of Advanced Technology for the Community College of Allegheny County and worked as bilingual customer service agent for National City Home Loan Services before returning to the noble field of Business Brokerage with Sunbelt in 2006. Mr. Lichter opened the Morgantown Office in 2008.
